BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE CORRECT!
Greetings & Salutations my fellow South Dakotans'! Because of recent communications on Facebook, that I can only describe as unnecessary, I find I have to speak to this matter! Apparently, some people don't like it when I express my opinions concerning the issues discussed on social media.
These people feel that I am not politically correct enough to suit their tastes. The problem is, I am the most politically incorrect person you may ever come to know! I do not look at Lady Godiva (sic) and proclaim what a beautiful dress she has on today, when anyone with eyes can clearly see, she is naked!
I have been called really nasty names by some really nasty people today! One lady accused me of disgracing my opponents, and spouting hatred! The funny thing is, I have not spoken to my opponents, nor have I attacked them either. Another man, told me that I was probably as corrupt as Donald J. Trump. However, I have passed many a background check here! Funny thing, I believe President Trump is an honorable man and truly loves this Great nation we all call the United States of America.
I am not like anyone else folks. I am just myself. I believe that all people are endowed with the same rights as I am, in accordance with our Constitution. I believe that a persons skin color does not make the person, it's what's in their heart that does! I believe everyone deserves to be treated with the upmost respect and dignity! I believe that everyone gets one chance to make a first impression, but that everyone deserves a second chance.
I am not a racist, or a homophobe, or a Islamophobe, or any other nasty tag those who do not know me want to place on me! If immigrants' come here and assimilate into our culture, I welcome them with open arms; but if they come here to burden of social economic system, change our laws and try to kill us, I will not stand for any of that! Those who truly know me, know me better then that! I love my wife of 27 years, I love my children, all five of them, and I love my State, Country and my President!
I was raised to respect my elders, and to respect authority, and to obey the laws of our land. I have several family members in law enforcement. How can we say to people, "do as I say, not as I do!" And "no one is above the law" and then allow educated people, who should know better, get away with bending and breaking every law in the book. The first thing a judge tells you in court is, "ignorance of the law is no excuse!" So, someone tell me why educated people like Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama and others, get by with breaking the law? These people were all Attorneys at some point in time, and all disbarred too! So how is it they go free and others go to jail for committing 1/10th of what they have done?
I believe in original intent when it comes to the Constitution! Justice Scalia once said, "the Constitution says what it says, but it doesn't say what it doesn't say!" That means the Supreme Court should see to it that the laws they review comply with the Constitution and not try to decide or define what the Constitution means. Congress has domain over creating laws, not the Supreme Court.
So, I will stick to the issues from now on, and I am deleting my Facebook account. There's no reliable media outlets anymore, so I shall keep abreast of the world issues via messenger. The people who want to sensor me from expressing my 1st Amendment Right of Free Speech, seem to have no problem speaking their minds here. Those who criticize and judge others have the most to lose because they are worse then those they critique. Like the man above who said I was probably as corrupt as Donald J. Trump. He probably is a Democrat or an illegal alien, or both! But one thing for sure, he had no trouble being nasty and critical of someone he didn't even know! When you accuse others of the same thing you are doing, you're merely diverting attention away from your own shortcomings! So being politically correct doesn't always mean you're correct! God Bless!
