GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS SOUTH DAKOTANS'. My name is Dr. Terry L. LaFleur (i.e. doctor of law), and I want to be your next governor, and I need to discuss the topic of healthcare and what that means to me and you! Right now, South Dakotan's have very few choices addressing their healthcare needs. I believe that true healthcare should be affordable, efficient and fair for each and every resident of South Dakota. Not just for the top _?_% of the State's population that can afford to pay the premiums, co-pays and deductibles. I want to make it accessible to every man, woman, and child no matter what lane on life's road you're traveling. Only legal residents will be eligible to partake in our Category 3 Healthcare plan; wherefore, there will be a one year residency requirement before Category 3 coverage will begin.
Under our "Category 3 Program" no premium is required at all for individuals, couples, and couples with children. Every single resident citizen of South Dakota will receive the highest quality healthcare for FREE!!!! This is not Obamacare, or Medicaid, its FREE!!!!
We have invited Dr. Hunter Patch Adams MD to come to South Dakota when I am elected your next Governor. Patch and I have been negotiating the potential of resolving the medical crisis in our Great State of South Dakota by bringing the Gesundheit Institute ideologies to South Dakota. Patch has successfully organized and run Gesundheit Institutes in 2 states for decades now. Not a single Governor has even bothered to offer Patch any assistance until now. We're not reinventing the wheel here folks, we're just giving Patch a little help to show the world that its time to reign in the Government Regulations, and the Corporate Medicine Greed causing our healthcare costs to soar in our Great State of South Dakota.
There will be no deductibles for any performed medical services and/or surgical intervention services because Gesundheit Institute's don't accept insurance. Currently, deductibles are required to be paid for each necessary visit to the medical provider, for necessary treatment and/or preventive care. However, patients' with chronic health conditions are impacted the most severely, but under the Gesundheit ideology patients' will not be charged for short or long term healthcare as required. Therefore, no insurance premiums, deductibles or co-pays will be needed.
We will put together an Advisory Committee to compensate doctors, nurses, and support teams. Medical providers' will be required to ratify these compensatory subsidies or they will be excluded from participating within our Gesundheit Institute Category 3 Healthcare plan. Patch has hundreds of doctors and nurses just begging to come work for him; and since we have a noticeable shortage of these professionals, Patch's Category 3 Healthcare plan if the sure fired answer. Healthcare should never be withheld because it costs too much! No man, woman, or child should go without medical treatment just because they are less fortunate then the person setting beside them in the waiting room. When it comes down to healthcare, everyone should be treated equally.
Medicare and Medicaid typically do not cover every medical procedure and/or prescription recommended by the treating physician. Under our Gesundheit Healthcare plan this will no longer be the case. Every necessary treatment (e.g. IMP, IME, prognosis or diagnosis, and treatment) will be covered within our Gesundheit healthcare plan. Moreover, if a pharmaceutical company wants to market their products in South Dakota, they too must ratify the caps the Advisory Committee sets for these prescription medicines they sell. If there's any deficiency between the actual cost and the cap set by the A.C. then they can possibly deduct the loss off their federal tax liability. It's insane that a miracle treatment for cancer should cost $25,000 per treatment. There's only one God, and pharmaceutical company's should not be allowed to play God with human lives'. How much $ is enough! To leverage the lives' of people for corporate profit is unconscionable!
Our citizens' have been at the mercy of the pharmaceutical and insurance company's for decades and it's going to stop! Again, there's only one God and these bureaucrats can't see anything past their profit margins. Oh we get it right? But, I will always ask "why?" Why are they in the business if they are in it for the money? Why is the almighty $ worth more then a human life?
